A graduate and doctor of metallurgy, Douglas has spent the majority of his working life on commercial, financial and marketing aspects of the energy industry, including managing the changes necessary to deal with competitive markets. He has considerable experience of dealing with Board-level issues and since forming the Company in 1996 has undertaken many assignments for the boards and senior management of major players in the energy sector.
The Company was established in 1996 by Dr Douglas Swinden. He has a long and varied experience of the energy industry having worked in the UK during the Thatcher privatisation era. He was a Main Board director of Eastern Group PLC aand held a number of senior positions in that Company.
